We work with:

Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) including Counselling

We are commissioned by NHS Derby City PCT to provide a wide range of effective, short-term individual and group based psychological therapies for 6000 referrals per year. These are delivered by highly experienced mental health professionals working in multidisciplinary teams consisting of Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, EMDR Therapists, Psychologists, Counsellors, Interpersonal Therapists, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and Mental Health Nurses. We have achieved high recovery rates of 60% and expect 70% by next year.

The Condition Management Programme (CMP) and Flexible Health Support Service

The Derbyshire-wide service was aimed at assisting people on Incapacity Benefit or Employment Support Allowance who wished to overcome mental health problems that created barriers to gaining employment or prevented them from returning to work. The programme, funded by the Department of Work and Pensions and Job Centre Plus, is similar to IAPT provision and provided short term psychological therapies for moderate to severe conditions. We were commissioned to take 1500 referrals a year through the programme and worked collaboratively with Job Brokers, Training Agencies, Rethink, Job Centre Plus staff and the specialist Mental Health Services Trust. We achieved an excellent return to work result as well as exceptional clinical outcomes.

Metropolitan Police Authority Occupational Health Provision (Mental Health)

We currently provide specialist assessment and psychological therapies to staff referred by the Occupational Health department, who require: Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or Cognitive Analytical Therapy for the full range of mental health problems including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety Disorders and Depression.

Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humberside Mental Health Foundation Trust

We are commissioned to provide: Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and Counselling Services within the Trust's Adult and Child and Adolescent Community Mental Health Services and Out-patient Clinics. We were originally commissioned to reduce waiting times for psychological therapies within the Mental Health Trust.

Primary Care Mental Health

In the Wirral we are commissioned to provide a responsive, flexible and accessible Primary Care Mental Health Service to all residents within the Wirral NHS Alliance Commissioning Consortium (a group of 8 GP practices): We deliver Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and Counselling mainly in the GP practices or a convenient accessible place for the patient if this is more suitable.
